The Adirondack Park
The Adirondack Park was created in 1892 by the state of New York. Containing six-million acres, the Park is the largest park in the contiguous United States. It covers one-fifth of New York State, is equal in size to neighboring Vermont, and is nearly three times the size of Yellowstone National Park.
The Adirondack Park is best known for its expansive pristine forests, lakes, rivers, and outdoor recreation opportunities. Unlike a national park, the Adirondack Park has no entrance and no entry fee, as it not only contains public land, but private lands as well where people live year-round.

Snowmobiling
Brantingham is renown for a great area to snowmobile from, to and through on a days ride, and Raven Acres is located adjacent to some of the best trails in the area. We're grateful for the Brantingham Snomads, who maintain miles of trails nearby.
Hiking
There are unlimited oppportunities to Hike in Lewis County. Here's a source for the best hikes and walks in Lewis county. The Otter Creek trail system allows a person to experience the solitude and beauty of the Adirondacks. Day Trips and Local Points of Interest
Whetstone Gulf
Whetstone Gulf State Park is built in and around a three-mile-long gorge cut into the eastern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau. The gorge is one of the most spectacular scenic vistas east of the Rocky Mountains. It’s great for hiking and fishing in particular.
Tug Hill Estate Winery

Old Forge, New York
